Overall, it is clear that Canada and Australia consumed considerably more energy per household than the remaining three countries. France recorded the lowest figure, while Sweden was the only country from the lower-consumption group to slightly surpass the global average.

Regarding the top consumers, Canada had the highest energy use at 280 GJ per household, which was twice as much as France and exactly double the world average. Australia followed at 220 GJ, some 80 GJ above the global benchmark, making both nations notable outliers.

In contrast, France, Japan, and Sweden all consumed far less energy per household. France recorded the lowest figure at 110 GJ, approximately 170 GJ below Canada's figure. Japan was slightly higher at 130 GJ, just below the world average, while Sweden stood at 160 GJ — the only country in this group to marginally exceed the global figure.
