Beginning November 1, employees will submit travel expense reports exclusively through the new ExpensePortal system rather than the paper forms currently in use. Under the revised policy, the per diem rate for international travel will increase from $75 to $95 per day, and receipts will now be required for any single expense exceeding $25, down from the previous threshold of $50.
These changes will take effect for the Marketing, Engineering, and Operations divisions on November 1. Because the Sales division is currently migrating to a new CRM system, its transition to ExpensePortal will be delayed until January 1; until then, Sales staff should continue using the current paper forms for their expense reports. However, the increased international per diem rate of $95 will apply company-wide starting November 1, regardless of division.
Employees with questions about the new receipt threshold should contact the Finance helpdesk rather than replying to this message.
Thanks for the update. I travel internationally almost every month for client meetings, and I want to make sure I understand this correctly. Since the memo says Sales won't move to ExpensePortal until January 1, should I keep submitting paper forms for my November and December trips? And does the $95 per diem for international travel actually start applying to me on November 1, even though the rest of our division's transition is delayed? I don't want to submit an outdated rate by mistake.

根拠: "its transition to ExpensePortal will be delayed until January 1"(Sales部門はポータル移行が1月1日まで延期)。
(A) "down from the previous threshold of $50" と一致 → 除外
(B) "increase from $75 to $95" と一致 → 除外

根拠: "does the $95 per diem for international travel actually start applying to me on November 1, even though the rest of our division's transition is delayed?"

文脈: "receipts will now be required for any single expense exceeding $25, down from the previous threshold of $50"($50という基準額を下回り$25超で領収書が必要になった)
(B) limit → 「
(C) preference → 「
