Part 3 の特徴と今回の型
- Part 3 は2〜3名の会話を聞き、1会話3問（全13会話・39問）。2016年改定で図表連動問題と意図問題が加わった（公式の出題数内訳は本セッションで再取得しておらず未確認）。
- 本スキルの過去の図表はほぼ表（料金表・時刻表）。今回は未着手のフロア図型。選択肢は部屋名、会話は「across from the elevators」のような位置の説明。基準点（across from の後ろの名詞）が会話中に切り替わるのが難所。
- 会話2は否定を使った控えめ表現の意図問題。not に反応して「否定的」と取ると誤る。
- トランスクリプト形式（音声なし）。会話2セット×3問＝6問、9分以内（各会話1分30秒）。

設問チャレンジ（Questions 1–6）
Conversation 1（Q1–3）顧客向けワークショップの会議室（3人会話）
Priya: Our room for Thursday's workshop with Harlow Foods has been changed. Facilities said the one we booked, the room across from the kitchen, needs its projector replaced.
Kenji: So where are we now?
Priya: They've offered us the room directly across from the elevators.
Luis: Hmm. That one's right next to the kitchen, and the noise from the coffee machine really carries. The last time I presented there, I could barely hear the client's questions.
Priya: Well, it's not as if we have many options. Every room on the north side is taken that afternoon.
Kenji: Not every room. The sales team had the one at the far end, past the elevators, but they cancelled this morning. I saw it in the booking system.
Luis: That one's smaller, though. How many people is Harlow sending? Four? With the three of us, that's seven.
Kenji: It seats eight, so we'd fit.
Priya: Then I'll ask Facilities to switch us. I'll do it before lunch, so nobody else grabs it.
Priya の「the one we booked ... needs its projector replaced」。(A) 日程は Thursday のまま。(C) キッチンは騒音の話で出るだけ。(D) Kenji は booking system で取消を確認しており、システムは動いている。
解説を開くと図に色が付く（赤＝元の部屋／黄＝提案／緑＝決定）。
「across from the kitchen」＝302（プロジェクター交換で使えない）→「directly across from the elevators」＝305（Luis が「right next to the kitchen」で騒音を問題視）→ Kenji の「at the far end, past the elevators」は「Every room on the north side」への反論なので north side の東端＝303。4＋3＝7名に対し8席で足り、Priya の「switch us」で決定。(D) 306 は端に見えるが south side で4席。
直前は Luis の騒音の不満。「選択肢が多いわけじゃない（から305で我慢するしかない）」。理由として「Every room on the north side is taken」。直後の Kenji「Not every room.」が、Priya が「他に無い＝受けるべき」と言った裏取り。(B)(C)(D) に当たる発言は無い。
Conversation 2（Q4–6）研修のケータリング見積り（2人会話・図表なし）
Grace: Did you get a chance to look at the revised quote from Bellwood Catering?
Owen: I did. They lowered the price by two dollars per person, and they'll set up the night before at no charge.
Grace: That's not nothing. Last year's caterer charged us a setup fee on top of everything else.
Owen: True. My only concern is the menu. They still don't offer a vegetarian main dish, and about a third of our trainees asked for one on the registration form.
Grace: I wouldn't call that a minor detail.
Owen: No, it isn't. I'll ask them whether they can add one. If they can't, we may need to look at the Corbin Bistro quote again.
Grace: Corbin was more expensive, wasn't it?
Owen: By about three hundred dollars. But it's not as though price is the only thing the budget committee considers.
Grace: Fair enough. Let me know what Bellwood says by Friday. I have to submit the final numbers on Monday.
not nothing＝否定×否定＝肯定。値下げと無料設営を、去年の業者（setup fee を取った）と比べて評価している。(A) は字面の nothing に引っ張られた逆の解釈。(C) 料金の抜けの話ではない。(D) Owen の報告を受けて評価しているので、中身は把握している。
Owen の「My only concern is the menu ... about a third of our trainees asked for one」への応答。「小さな点とは呼ばない」＝重大だと同意。直後の Owen「No, it isn't.」が裏取り。(A) は wouldn't を「反対」と取った逆の読み（大げさだと言うなら I wouldn't worry about it などになる）。(B)(D) 数字やフォームの誤りの話ではない。
Owen「I'll ask them whether they can add one.」の them＝Bellwood。(A) 提出は Grace が月曜に行う。(B) Corbin は再検討の可能性のみ。(C) 登録フォームは要望の出所として出るだけ。
解法ガイド
- 先読みで目印を押さえる: Kitchen の向かい＝302、Elevators の向かい＝305、Elevators の隣＝302・303、north side の東端＝303。
- 基準点に丸をつける: across from the kitchen（302・元）→ across from the elevators（305・提案）→ far end, past the elevators（303・決定）。
- 条件で最終確認: 4＋3＝7名、303は8席。306は south side・4席で不可。
- 否定の控えめ表現は直前と直後で判断: Q3 は直後の「Not every room.」、Q4 は直後の去年との比較、Q5 は直後の「No, it isn't.」が裏取り。
- 次の行動は「誰の I'll か」: Owen の I'll ask them。Grace の予定（月曜の提出）を混ぜた選択肢を外す。

ヒント1（方向性）
Q2 は会話に出た部屋を3つ（元の部屋・提案・最後に見つかった部屋）書き出し、最後のものを選ぶ。Q3〜Q5 は not に反応しない。
ヒント2（解法のキー）
Q2: across from の後ろの名詞（kitchen／elevators）を図の目印に当てはめる。人数と席数も確認。Q4・Q5: 直後の相手の反応を見る。
ヒント3（ほぼ答えに近い誘導）
Q2: 302→305→303（8席 ≧ 7名）。Q3: 受け入れるしかない。Q4: 評価に値する。Q5: 相手の懸念に同意。Q6: Owen の I'll ask them。

採らなかった案: (1) 数字の言い直し（thirteen — sorry, thirty）— 文字では音の紛らわしさが再現できず、訂正追跡は Day126・Day133 で扱い済み。(2) 表の図表をもう1回 — Day057〜Day165 の図表はほぼ表で反復になる。(3) 会話2にも図表 — 本番は図表なしの会話が多数派で、意図問題に情報量を集中させるため外した。採用理由: 過去の Part 3 ファイル25本を grep して、floor plan 型・二重否定の意図問題とも0件だった。前提が変わったら: Phase 6 では2階分のフロア図（directly above）や、同じ文が皮肉にも賛成にも取れる意図問題に替える。
数値の出所: 部屋番号・席数・値下げ額・価格差・人数は本問のための仮定値。7名・Room 303 は本文からの導出。過去ファイルの件数は grep による実測（2026-10-07）。
よくある日本人のミス

扱わなかった範囲と理由
- 音声の強勢・イントネーション: 「not nothing」は本番では強勢で肯定のニュアンスが伝わるが、トランスクリプトでは再現できない
- 屋外の地図・道順型: turn left / two blocks down など語彙が別になるため、今回はフロア図に限った
- 話者の取り違え: 会話1は3人だが設問は唯一の女性 Priya に寄せた。話者特定は Day105・Day112 で扱い済み
- 公式出題数の確認: 図表問題・意図問題の公式な出題数内訳は本セッションで再取得しておらず未確認
