題材: 直近の日曜がホテル契約・配送料金・AV機器保守だったため、本業（EC）で実際に起きる「梱包資材の値上げ」に替えた。B2B の値上げ通知では「いつの注文から新価格か」と「旧価格を守る条件（price protection）」が肝になる（一般知識。社名・価格・日付は架空）。

Questions 1–5 refer to the following notice, purchase order, and e-mail.
Because of rising paper costs, prices for all corrugated shipping boxes will increase by 8 percent effective September 15. Prices for tape, labels, and other supplies will not change.
The new prices will apply to all orders received on or after September 15. For orders received before that date, we will honor current prices, provided that the order is shipped by September 30. If a customer asks us to ship an order after September 30, the boxes in that order will be invoiced at the new prices.
Our volume discount remains in effect: when 500 or more units of a single item are ordered at one time, that item is discounted by 5 percent. Orders totaling $2,000 or more after discounts (before tax) are delivered free of charge. A delivery fee of $60 applies to all other orders.
Customers with standing monthly orders will be contacted individually by their account representative before September 15.

Dear Mr. Albright,
Thank you for Purchase Order 4471, which we received on September 12. Because you have asked for delivery on October 6, the order would leave our warehouse after September 30. As explained in our August 18 notice, the boxes would then be invoiced at the new prices.
If your current warehouse at 85 Dunmore Street could receive the order instead, we could ship everything by September 26 and invoice the boxes at the current prices. Please note, however, that the gap between the two options is smaller than it may first appear, because of the way our delivery fee is charged.
Kindly let me know which option you prefer by September 19 so that we can schedule your shipment.

扱わなかった範囲
- 税（sales tax）: 本文に税率が無いので設問にしなかった。TOEIC は本文に無い数値を計算させない
- 旧倉庫から新倉庫への社内輸送費: 本文に無い。実務ではこの費用で「どちらが得か」が逆転しうるが、設問は本文の数字だけで決まる
- 他の値上げ実務（出荷日だけを基準にする方式、見積りの有効期限、契約単価の改定条項）: 今日は「受注日＋出荷期限」の1方式に絞った。他は Part 5 の語彙の題材に残す
