Day149(棒グラフ+表)→ Day156(円グラフ+折れ線グラフ+表)と、数値データどうしの統合を練習してきました。
Because of the new bridge... 使うのは coincided with / was accompanied by / over the same period
| Band | Task Achievement | Coherence & Cohesion | Lexical Resource | Grammatical Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
over the same period 等で接続 | gave way to / was converted into と tripled / edged down の両系統を使用 | 受動態(地図)と分詞構文・対比構文(数値)が同居 |

- Over the same period As a result / Because of は使わない
Overview Overall, the town expanded considerably, with farmland north of the river being developed for housing and the population rising by half. At the same time, the town was reshaped in favour of walking, cycling and rail, which coincided with a marked shift away from driving to work, although the car remained the most common single mode.
Body 1 farmland → housing estate; factory → apartments + park; population 18,400 → 27,600; households 7,300 → 12,000; household size 2.5 → 2.3; woodland untouched.
Body 2 new pedestrian/cycle bridge; car park → market square; station expanded; over the same period car 64 → 41%, cycling 5 → 17%, train 9 → 18%; bus 14 → 12%.

Intro The maps illustrate how Kelbridge changed between 2005 and 2025, while the table and bar chart show its population and households and how working residents commuted over the same period.
Overview Overall, Kelbridge expanded considerably, with farmland north of the river being developed for housing and the population rising by half. At the same time, the town's layout was reshaped in favour of walking, cycling and rail, and this coincided with a marked shift away from the car as the main means of commuting, although driving remained the most common single mode.
Body 1 The most significant change was the replacement of farmland north of the river with a large housing estate, while on the east bank the former factory was converted into riverside apartments alongside a new park. These developments were accompanied by steady population growth from 18,400 to 27,600, and the number of households rose even faster, from 7,300 to 12,000, as average household size edged down from 2.5 to 2.3. Only the woodland in the south was left untouched.
Body 2 In terms of transport, a pedestrian and cycle bridge was added west of the road bridge, the central car park was pedestrianised as a market square, and the railway station was expanded with a park-and-ride facility. Over the same period, the proportion of residents driving to work fell from 64% to 41%, whereas the shares travelling by train and by bicycle doubled and more than tripled respectively, reaching 18% and 17%. Bus use, by contrast, dipped slightly from 14% to 12%.
